Clemson Sets Future Notre Dame Games
Clemson will play Notre Dame four times between the 2015 and 2023 seasons, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced on Tuesday. The league announced games Notre Dame will play against all ACC opponents until 2025.

USC Women Picked As Repeat SEC Champs
A panel of both SEC and national media members picked South Carolina to win the 2015 SEC women’s basketball championship, the league office announced today. The Gamecocks claimed their first SEC title last season and, if the prediction holds, would become just the fourth team to defend its title. Junior guard Tiffany Mitchell and senior Aleighsa Welch were tabbed with individual honors as well.
Silvers Qualifies For PGA Event
Former South Carolina men’s golfer Mark Silvers shared medalist honors at a qualifier on Monday at Brunswick Country Club in Brunswick, Ga., to earn a spot in this week’s PGA Tour McGladrey Classic.
Big Debut For Bryant On Monday Night Football
Former Clemson standout Martavis Bryant made his NFL debut in a big way on Monday Night Football. The Steelers rookie wide receiver made his first career NFL catch a 35-yard touchdown that sparked Pittsburgh to a 30-23 win over Houston.
Texans rookie linebacker Jadeveon Clowney did not play in the game. The former Gamecock came into Monday Night questionable. Clowney is still recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery after tearing his meniscus six weeks ago.
Another former Clemson receiver, Houston’s Deandre Hopkins led all players with 108 receiving yards but had a critical fumble for the Texans late in the game.
Clowney Misses Out On Monday Night Football
Rookie linebacker Jadeveon Clowney will miss his sixth straight game on Monday night when the Houston Texans play the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Texans made Clowney inactive even though the top overall pick in the draft was able to practice this week after injuring his right knee in the season opener against Washington.
Clemson Defense Ranked 5th In Nation
Clemson’s defense is grabbing the headlines for the 21st-ranked Tigers, and not for the points it allows in the team’s biggest games.
The group has given up just 30 points in the past three games for Clemson (5-2, 4-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) and made game-saving stops the last two weeks to beat Louisville and Boston College.
Florida AD Still Evaluating Muschamp
Florida athletic director Jeremy Foley says he is evaluating the season, and likely coach Will Muschamp’s future, “as it plays out.”
Foley released a 40-word statement Monday that did little to sway belief Muschamp’s job is in serious jeopardy following consecutive home losses to teams that previously struggled in Southeastern Conference play.
SEC Sets USC-Tennessee Game Time
Each of the University of South Carolina’s next two football games will kick at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be televised by the SEC Network, according to the Southeastern Conference offices.
