Clowney Returns To Practice

No. 1 overall draft pick Jadeveon Clowney has returned to practice and hopes to play on Monday night when Houston meets the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Clowney practiced Friday in a limited capacity for the first time since having arthroscopic surgery on his right knee. Coach Bill O’Brien says they’ll decide before the game on Monday if he can play.

Benedict Looks To Snap Skid In Atlanta

Saturday’s contest between the Benedict College Tigers and the Clark Atlanta Panthers could be a pivotal game for both teams.

“We need a win bad,” Benedict coach James Woody said. The Tigers are riding a three-game losing streak and are 2-4 overall and still searching for their first conference win at 0-3 in the SIAC.

USC Golf Wraps Up In Camden

The 10th-ranked South Carolina men’s golf team will host the Camden Collegiate Invitational this weekend to close out its fall schedule. Teams will play 36 holes on Saturday and 18 on Sunday on the par-70, 6,455-yard layout at Camden Country Club in Camden, S.C.
