University of South Carolina head men’s basketball coach Frank Martin announced on Tuesday that incoming freshman guard Shamiek Sheppard has suffered an ACL tear in his right knee and is expected to miss the 2014-15 campaign. Sheppard will undergo surgery for the torn ligament this week in Columbia.
