Shaw Slowly Adjusting To Wearing Orange

(WOLO) — Connor Shaw proudly throws up his palm while posing for pictures with Gamecock fans these days. USC’s all-time winningest quarterback is especially proud of the five straight wins Carolina football owns against in-state rival Clemson.

Shaw just never thought he’d have to wear orange.

The man who proudly donned the garnet and black in college wore orange and black cleats at his MVP football camp Saturday in Charleston. Shaw says he’s still trying to get used to the colors of his new NFL team, the Cleveland Browns.

“I walked in the locker room, and I saw my name, and it was pretty surreal,” Shaw told WCIV. “But then you look at that orange helmet, and you’re like, ‘Oh, man! I got to get used to that.'”
