Former Clemson standout K.J. McDaniels scored 15 points and grabbed five rebounds for the Philadelphia 76ers Tuesday in the NBA Summer League in Orlando.
Future Gamecock wins ‘Fastest Man’ event
South Carolina 2015 commit Mark Fields (Cornelius, NC) won the Fastest Man competition on Tuesday at The Opening. Fields ran a 4.34 40-yard dash to beat Miami commit Jordan Scarlett in a one-on-one final.
Waldrop on Rimington watch list
University of South Carolina center Cody Waldrop is one of 66 players named to the Rimington Trophy fall watch list. The Rimington Trophy is presented annually to the Most Outstanding Center in Division I-A College Football.
