Kennedy Makes Move From Sumter To Irmo

Reggie Kennedy is officially the new football coach at Irmo High School. Kennedy was approved in a school board meeting Monday night to be Bob Hanna’s successor. Hanna recently retired after leading the Yellow Jacket program for 20 years.

Clemson Center Makes Rimington Watch List

Clemson junior center Ryan Norton has been named to the preseason Rimington Award Watch List for 2014. The Rimington Award is named in honor of former Nebraska Center Dave Rimington and is overseen by the Boomer Esiason Foundation, which is committed to finding a cure for cystic fibrosis.

7 Tigers Earn All-ACC Honors

Seven Tigers earned First, Second or Third-Team All-ACC honors, announced Monday by the ACC. The seven selections tied for second-most with Miami. Virginia had the most with eight.

SEC Announces Rotating Football Schedule

The Southeastern Conference on Monday announced a 12-year rotation of non-division opponents for SEC football schedules through 2025. Monday’s announcement pertains to the rotating non-division opponents. The rotation begins with the 2014 season and concludes with the 2025 season. Schools will play all permanent opponents on a home and away basis beginning in 2014.
