Spring Game FanFest Details Set

The Gamecock Club will be hosting its annual FanFest before the Garnet & Black Spring Game on Saturday, April 12. FanFest activities will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will be located in the northwest corner of Williams-Brice Stadium at the intersection of George Rogers Blvd. and Bluff Road.

Newberry Nails Down 2015 Football Schedule

Newberry College and the Florida Institute of Technology have announced the completion of a contract for the two institutions to play football games in the 2015 and 2016 seasons. The contract completes Newberry’s 2015 schedule with six home games – including Division I opponent Charleston Southern – and five road games. The 2016 schedule still has one open date remaining with five home games and five road games on the schedule at this point.

Clemson set for NIT Quarterfinals

With a trip to New York City and the famous Madison Square Garden for the National Invitation Tournament semifinals on the line, Clemson and Belmont square off Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum. It is the first meeting between the two schools.

USC Defeats Kentucky 8-3 in Series Finale

Joey Pankake and DC Arendas each belted their third homers of the season and freshman right-hander Wil Crowe worked six-plus innings to improve to 5-0 on the year as top ranked South Carolina defeated Kentucky 8-3 in the series finale at Cliff Hagan Stadium.
