College baseball’s premier rivalry is this weekend as South Carolina (7-0) meets Clemson (6-1) for three games in three different sites. The series opens on Friday at in Columbia at Carolina Stadium with first pitch at 7 p.m. Game two of the series shifts to Greenville and the Reedy River Rivalry contest at Fluor Field with first pitch at 2:05 p.m. The series concludes on Sunday in Clemson at Doug Kingsmore Stadium at 4 p.m.
No. 4/5 South Carolina hosts its final game at Colonial Life Arena Thursday night when the Georgia Lady Bulldogs come to Columbia for a 7 p.m tipoff. The Gamecocks (25-2, 13-1 SEC) will honor their lone senior, Wllka Montout, prior to the game along with recognitions for juniors Aleighsa Welch (1,000 career points) and Elem Ibiam (school single-season blocks record). Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with presentations beginning at approximately 6:40 p.m.
