Clemson Gets 10th ACC Win, 58-54 Over Miami

Clemson broke a halftime tie and committed just nine turnovers for the second straight game on its way to a 58-54 victory over Miami on Tuesday at Littlejohn Coliseum. The win, Clemson’s second in the last 48 hours, was the program’s 10th ACC win of the season – only the fourth time the Tigers have won 10 ACC games in a season. The Tigers moved to 19-10 overall and 10-7 in league play. Miami fell to 15-15, 6-11 in the ACC.

Western Carolina Clocks Clemson 18-10

Western Carolina scored six runs in the second inning and seven runs in the fourth inning to cruise to an 18-10 win over #15 Clemson at Hennon Stadium on Tuesday afternoon. The Catamounts (8-2), who totaled 16 hits in the game, extended the nation’s longest home winning streak to 18.

USC Baseball Beats Stetson 7-1

Top-ranked South Carolina scored six runs in the first two innings on the way to a 7-1 victory over Stetson on Tuesday afternoon. The Gamecocks improve to 11-0 on the year while the loss drops Stetson to 2-10.

Dabo Suspends 4 Players For Opener

Head football coach Dabo Swinney announced Tuesday the suspension of four players for the first game of the 2014 season at Georgia on August 30. David Beasley, Shaq Anthony, Garry Peters and Corey Crawford will miss the season opener due to a violation of team rules.
