#11 Clemson (5-1) hosts Presbyterian (4-2-1) Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m. at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. It’s the final game for the Tigers before this weekend’s big series with #3 USC.
Clowney Excites At The Combine
Jadeveon Clowney excited scouts at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis with his 40-yard dash time, unofficially he ran a 4.47 which went down a little for the official time to 4.53. The 40 time was the fastest for any defensive line player and faster than many of the wide receivers and running backs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Tiffany Mitchell scored 20 points, Alaina Coates added 16 points and 12 rebounds as No. 4 South Carolina won its ninth straight game with a 69-55 victory over Florida on Sunday.
Gamecocks Set Spring Practice Dates
The University of South Carolina’s 2014 spring football practice dates have been set, it was announced today. The Gamecocks are slated to open their spring drills on Tuesday, March 4, and conclude with the annual Garnet & Black Spring Game on Saturday, April 12.

South Carolina continued the 2014 season with a midweek victory over Presbyterian 4-0 as well as a three-game sweep of Eastern Kentucky with victories of 4-0, 2-0, 6-0. The Gamecocks are now 7-0 on the year. South Carolina set a school record on Sunday as the Gamecocks recorded the fifth consecutive shutout. The previous record of four was set in 1972. South Carolina has not allowed a run in 51.0 straight innings. The only runs allowed by the Gamecocks so far in the year were four runs in the final two innings of the 17-4 win over Bucknell in the season opener and a pair of runs by the Bison in the third inning of a 12-2 victory in game two of the season.

USC Gets Sweep, Now 51 Straight Shutout Innings
Gamecock pitching continued its early season dominance Sunday, upping its shutout innings streak to 51 straight with a 6-0 win against Eastern Kentucky. #5 Carolina got the sweep and improved to 7-0 on the season behind another strong start by Wil Crowe. The freshman struck out five in 6.1 scoreless innings. 5 Gamecock relievers came on from there to preserve their 5th straight shutout.
