K.J. McDaniels scored 26 points as Clemson defeated Florida State 53-49 on the road in Atlantic Coast Conference action Saturday afternoon.
Marshall Henderson scored 21 points, Jarvis Summers added 15 and Mississippi rallied from a 15-point deficit in the second half to beat South Carolina 75-71 on Saturday.
South Carolina travels to Ole Miss for the second matchup between the two schools this season. The Rebels posted a 75-74 victory over the Gamecocks just two weeks ago in Columbia. Saturday’s game will be broadcast on ABC Columbia. Coverage starts at 1:30 p.m.
Clemson (13-6, 4-3 ACC) looks for revenge Saturday when it takes on Florida St. (13-7, 4-4 ACC) at 3:05 in Tallahassee on ESPN2. Earlier this season the Seminoles took out the Tigers 56-41 at Littlejohn Coliseum.

Following the announcement last week of the 2014 football schedule, the Clemson athletic department, in conjunction with the alumni association, student affairs, IPTAY, the Tiger Letterwinners association and a host of other campus groups, announced the game designations for Clemson’s home schedule this fall.
Ray Tanner and USC welcomed back former Gamecock pro baseball players at a reunion lunch Friday at Carolina Stadium. The former coach turned athletics director told the group they laid a foundation of winning that gives the current program an advantage.
