Succop Spending Summer In Lowcountry

Former Gamecock and current Kansas City Chiefs kicker Ryan Succop is spending the summer in the Lowcountry. Succop says Carolina football’s back-to-back 11 win seasons have earned him bragging rights among his fellow SEC teammates in the NFL.

Tiger Trio Makes Watch Lists

Tajh Boyd and Sammy Watkins were named to the Maxwell Award Watch List, while Vic Beasley was named to the Bednarik Award Watch List on Monday. The Maxwell Award is presented each year to the Most Outstanding Player in college football, while the Bednarik goes to the top defensive player.

Clemson Sells Out Kickoff Ticket Package

The Clemson Athletic Ticket Office has announced the kickoff package, including Georgia and South Carolina State, is now sold out. A limited number of full season tickets, including all seven home games, are still available for $330 each to both IPTAY members and the general public. Season tickets may be purchased online at ClemsonTigers.com or by calling 1-800-CLEMSON. All single game tickets, excluding Georgia, will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, July 10 at 8:00am.

Japan Evens Series Against Greiner, Team USA

A three-run triple from Hiromi Oka broke a scoreless tie in the eighth and Japan rode the outburst to a 4-0 win, evening the series with the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team at a game apiece. Defense was on display as the team’s combined to turn six double plays.

Martin, Team USA Defeat UAE 140-46 Sunday

Greiner Continues Success With Team USA In Japan

Gamecock Grayson Greiner recorded an RBI in the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team’s 6-3 victory over Japan. The Collegiate National Team takes a 1-0 lead in the USA vs. Japan Collegiate International Friendship Series. Game two is set for Sunday at 1 a.m. (ET)/2 p.m. (JST) at Matsuyama’s Botchan Stadium.
