Gamecocks End Regular Season At Miss St.

South Carolina is back on the road for a three-game SEC series with Mississippi State in the final weekend of the regular season. First pitch for the opener on Thursday is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. Friday’s contest is also scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and the series finale on Saturday will begin at 3 p.m. All three games can be heard on the Gamecock Radio Network from IMG College including flagship station 107.5 FM, “The Game.”

Clemson Finishes Regular Season At FSU

Clemson (38-15, 17-10 ACC), ranked as high as #14 in the nation, will travel to Tallahassee, FL to close the regular-season at #8 Florida State (42-10, 18-9 ACC) in a three-game series at Dick Howser Stadium from Thursday to Saturday. Game times are 6:00 PM (Thursday), 8:00 PM (Friday), and 3:00 PM (Saturday).

Staley Signs JUCO Player of the Year

South Carolina women’s basketball head coach Dawn Staley announced today the signing of 5-foot-7 guard Olivia Gaines (Chester, S.C./Chester) to a National Letter of Intent to attend the University and play for the Gamecocks. Gaines will have two seasons of eligibility beginning with the 2013-14 season.

Tiger Golf Ready To Tee Up Tempe Regional

Clemson will open play in the NCAA Regional Golf Tournament at Tempe, AZ on Thursday morning at 10:30 AM Eastern time, 7:30 AM in Tempe. The Tigers will be paired with #6 seed Vanderbilt and #4 seed Texas A&M. The Tigers are seeded fifth in the 14-team tournament. The top five schools will advance to the NCAA Championship Tournament near Atlanta, GA May 28-June 2.

Clemson Signs Center From Senegal

Clemson men’s basketball announced Wednesday that 2013 center prospect Sidy Djitte (pronounced SIH-dee zhih-TAY) signed a National Letter-of-Intent to play for the Tigers. The 6-foot-10 Djitte is the first prospect ever from the country of Senegal to sign with Clemson, and is the fourth member of Head Coach Brad Brownell’s 2013 signing class. Djitte played this past season at Northwood Temple Academy in Fayetteville, NC.
