South Carolina (37-14) hosts Presbyterian (24-28) on Tuesday night in the final regular season home game of the season at Carolina Stadium. First pitch is 7 p.m. with the game televised live on Fox Sports South and Fox Sports Carolinas and available on the Gamecock Radio Network from IMG College including flagship station, 107.5 FM, “The Game.”

Lexington Opens Title Series With 5-2 Win

Lefty Josh Reagan pitched a four-hitter and Brandon Camp and Ryan Brown added two hits each that helped top-ranked Lexington to a 5-2 win over 3rd-ranked Blythewood in the opening game of the AAAA best-of-three high school baseball state championship series before a capacity crowd at Wildcats Field on Monday.

Esposito & Anderson To Serve One-Game Supsensions

South Carolina assistant coach Sammy Esposito and strength and conditioning coach Billy Anderson will serve NCAA mandated one-game suspensions as a result of their ejections from South Carolina’s May 12 baseball game against Georgia. This suspension was a result of “personnel other than the head coach ejected for disputing, arguing and unsportsmanlike conduct.” Both will serve their suspension on May 14 for the South Carolina-Presbyterian game.

Gamecock Softball Makes NCAA Tournament

South Carolina (32-23) received its first NCAA Tournament bid since 2007, making the field of 64 in the Austin Regional, the NCAA released today. The Gamecocks take on Houston in the first round on Friday, with times to be determined.
