USC Women Open Regional Tied For 6th

The South Carolina women’s golf team moved into position to make a weekend run at the NCAA West Regional title as it posted an opening-round 296 (+12) to finish the day in a tie for sixth place on Thursday at the Stanford Golf Course.

Gamecocks Host Georgia In Weekend Series

South Carolina (34-14, 13-10 SEC) is back in action on Friday night beginning a three-game series vs. Georgia (18-28, 5-16 SEC) at Carolina Stadium. First pitch for the opener is 7 p.m. with the game televised live on SportSouth and available on the Gamecock Radio Network from IMG College including flagship station, 107.5 FM, “The Game.”

Gamecocks To Play North Carolina In Charlotte In 2015

The Charlotte Sports Foundation today announced it has secured a regular season college football game for the city of Charlotte, pitting the University of North Carolina against the University of South Carolina. The Gamecocks will face off against the Tar Heels on September 5, 2015 at Bank of America Stadium. The kickoff time and ticket information will be announced at a later date.

Pankake Helps USC Whip Wofford 9-3

Joey Pankake’s two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh sparked a six-run inning as 12th ranked South Carolina rallied for a 9-3 win over Wofford on Wednesday night in non-conference action at Carolina Stadium. The Gamecocks improve to 34-14 on the year with Wofford dropping to 20-21 for the season.

USC Softball Starts SEC Tourney WIth Upset Win

A complete game from redshirt sophomore Julie Sarratt and two big offensive innings sent South Carolina (32-22) to the SEC Tournament quarterfinals, as the Gamecocks defeated host and No. 18/15 Kentucky 6-3 early Thursday morning to close the first round at John Cropp Stadium.
