Gamecocks Fall 14-5 At Florida

Tied at 4-4 entering the bottom of the sixth inning, Florida batted around to score 10 runs on eight hits on the way to 14-5 victory over eighth ranked South Carolina on Saturday afternoon to sweep a three-game SEC series at McKethan Stadium. South Carolina is now 27-10 and 8-7 in the league with the Gators 19-18 and 8-7 in the SEC.

Gamecocks Fall 4-3 To Gators, Lose Series

Eighth ranked South Carolina opened up a 3-1 lead on Florida but the Gators rallied for three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning highlighted by a two-out two-run single by Harrison Bader as the Gamecocks fell 4-3 to Florida on Friday evening in game two of a three-game SEC baseball series at McKethan Stadum. The Gamecocks are 27-9 and 8-6 in the SEC with Florida 18-18 and 7-7 in league play.

Johnson Has Masters Lead, But Loses It With Late Collapse

Columbia native Dustin Johnson surged to 7 under and the top spot on the board, before a dismal finish ruined his day. He laid up at the par-5 15th hole, then dunked his third shot in the water, leading to a double-bogey. He bogeyed the 17th and took another double-bogey at the final hole to finish with 76.

Gamecocks Fall To Florida 3-2 In Series Opener

Despite a quality start from senior left-hander Nolan Belcher, eighth ranked South Carolina fell 3-2 to Florida on Thursday evening as the Gators took advantage of a pair of errors to score two unearned runs and earn the one-run victory over the Gamecocks in game one of a three-game series.
