Roland Shines At USC Spring Practice #4

The University of South Carolina football squad weathered a cool and windy day as they conducted spring practice number four of 15 at the Bluff Road practice fields on Thursday afternoon. “It was a cold and windy day,” acknowledged head coach Steve Spurrier. “We cut back a little bit. But (sophomore wide receiver) Shaq Roland had the best practice he’s had I think since he’s been a Gamecock. He was catching everything, running full speed.”

SC State QB Trio Battles For Starting Spot

During spring practice at SC State, a trio of quarterbacks is battling it out for the starting signal-calling duties. The three Bulldog QBs are senior Richard Cue, the starter most of the last two seasons, redshirt junior Tedarrius Wiley and redshirt freshman Adrian Kollock.

Duke Baseball Visits Clemson

Clemson (13-7, 3-3 ACC) will host Duke (11-10, 2-4 ACC) in a three-game series at Doug Kingsmore Stadium this weekend. Game times are 4:00 PM (Friday), 6:30 PM (Saturday), and 1:00 PM (Sunday). All three games will be available live via webcast on TigerCast at ClemsonTigers.com. All three games will also be broadcast live on the radio by Clemson Tiger Sports Network. Live stats will be available at ClemsonTigers.com for all three games as well.

USC Prepares For Big Arkansas Series

South Carolina (18-3, 2-1 SEC) returns to action this weekend hosting a three-game series vs. Arkansas (14-7, 1-2 SEC). First pitch for the opener on Friday is set for 7:30 p.m. with the game being televised live on CSS with live streaming available at ESPN3. Saturday’s game is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. and will be televised live on Fox Sports South and Fox Sports Carolinas with live streaming available at ESPN3. Sunday’s series finale is 1:30 p.m. with live video streaming at GamecocksOnline.com on the All Access Channel. All three games can be heard on the Gamecock Radio Network from IMG College including flagship station, 107.5 FM, “The Game.”

Pro TIming Day Set For March 27th

The South Carolina football program will hold its annual Pro Timing Day at Williams-Brice Stadium on Wednesday, March 27, when draft-eligible Gamecock players are scheduled to work out for NFL coaches and scouts.
