Missouri Blows Out Gamecocks 90-68
South Carolina (13-15, 3-12 SEC) could not overcome a 69.6 percent shooting performance by Missouri (20-8, 9-6 SEC), dropping a home conference contest 90-68 on Thursday night at Colonial Life Arena. Sophomore guard Damien Leonard scored a career-high 20 points, hitting a career-best six 3s to lead the Gamecocks.
USC Women Lose At Missouri 65-58
No. 14/13 South Carolina dropped at 65-58 decision at Missouri Thursday night as the Tigers shot 53.5 percent to overcome 16 turnovers. The Gamecocks (22-6, 10-5 SEC) struggled from the floor against the Tigers’ 2-3 zone that shut off their usual inside production. Ieasia Walker and Khadijah Sessions finished with 14 points each, but the Tigers won the rebound battle 38-30 and hit 16-of-24 from the free throw line to collect the win.
