Carolina Panthers president Danny Morrison says the team plans to begin renovations on their 16-year-old stadium immediately after the 2013 NFL season and estimates the project could take two years to complete.
Gamecocks coach Frank Martin said Tuesday that Geathers had undergone the procedure because the injury was not healing as expected. Geathers had hurt himself in July and was expected to need at least six months to recover.

A small amount of standing room only tickets are available for Opening Day on Friday, Feb. 15, as well as game two of the series on Saturday, Feb. 16. Some bleacher seats and standing room only tickets are available for Sunday’s series finale with first pitch scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
