Clemson’s Spiller Going To Pro Bowl

Former Clemson and current Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller will play for the AFC in the 2013 Pro Bowl in Honolulu, Hawaii. Spiller replaces Ray Rice as one of three running backs on the AFC roster, as Rice will be playing in the Super Bowl with the Baltimore Ravens on February 3.

USC Women Survive Scare At Florida, 52-44

No. 19/18 South Carolina survived a late surge by Florida to claim a 52-44 win over the Gators Sunday afternoon at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center. The Gamecocks (16-3, 4-2 SEC) captured the road victory behind 59 rebounds, the most during head coach Dawn Staley’s tenure, and a defensive effort that held Florida to just 17 field goals.

Spurrier On Sanders: “We’re All For Ace”

Sanders led the SEC and ranked fourth in the nation with a 15.13-yard punt return average, returning 28 punts for a school record 429 yards and two touchdowns. He was named the MVP of the Outback Bowl after catching nine passes for 92 yards and a pair of touchdowns and returning a punt 63 yards for another score in the Gamecocks’ 33-28 win over Michigan.
