Clemson Thursday Practice Report
Clemson practiced for the second straight day Thursday at the Georgia Dome, the site of its upcoming New Year’s Eve clash with No. 7 LSU in the Chick-fil-A Bowl. The 13th-ranked Tigers will practice again at the Georgia Dome on Friday before holding their final bowl practice Saturday at Georgia Tech.
USC Thursday Practice Report
The University of South Carolina football team worked out at Jefferson High School in Tampa on Thursday. It was the squad’s first workout in Tampa and its first practice since breaking for Christmas. The Gamecocks (10-2) are preparing for the 2013 Outback Bowl against Michigan (8-4). The game is set for January 1 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.

USC-Michigan Kick Off Outback Bowl Festivities
n one of the Outback Bowl’s signature traditions, bowl officials extended a special welcome to the Michigan Wolverines and the South Carolina Gamecocks tonight during the first official bowl event of the week at the Outback Steakhouse Team Welcome Dinner. Teams were treated to a feast from Outback Steakhouse while bowl representatives welcomed the players and presented gifts to the Head Coaches, Athletic Directors and their wives.
Tigers Kick Off Bowl Practices In Atlanta
Clemson held the first of four practices in Atlanta as it prepares to face eighth ranked (BCS) LSU on Monday night in the Chick-fil-A Bowl. The 14th ranked Tigers worked out at the Georgia Dome, the site of the annual game, on Wednesday. The Tigers will work there on Thursday and Friday as well before working at Georgia Tech on Saturday.
USC Hoops Lands Villanova Transfer
Sophomore Villanova guard Tyrone Johnson said Wednesday he is transferring to play for Frank Martin at South Carolina. He plans to enroll at USC in January and will be eligible to play next season.
