South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice (SCDJJ) officials say a security employee was found in possession of marijuana at a training facility.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department (RCSD) is investigating after an inmate was assaulted by several others, said the department.

A fifth Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center employee was arrested this month, says RCSD.

Deputies say over the past year Grady had approximately 65 phone calls with the inmate outside of her shift hours.
