County Council Member, Former City Council Member Face Tax Charges
Brian DeQuincy Newman COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Former Columbia City Council member Brian DeQuincey Newman and Richland County Council member Kelvin Washington were arrested Tuesday on tax charges. The arrests relate to a South Carolina Department of Revenue investigation, officials say. Both men turned themselves in to investigators Tuesday morning at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
