‘Operation Smackdown’ Nets More Arrests, Police Say
SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Several people are behind bars facing a variety of drugs and weapons charges following the Sumter County Sheriff’s Department’s continued efforts in ‘Operation Smackdown.’ For the past several weeks, the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office and cooperating agencies have conducted a drug sting targeting drug activity in Sumter County, twenty-six arrest warrants were served and twelve people were arrested officials say….
