South Carolina Veterans Treated to Vintage Aircraft Flights
DARLINGTON, S.C. (AP) – Nearly two dozen elderly South Carolina military veterans are being treated to flights over the Pee Dee region aboard vintage aircraft. The Florence Morning News reports the Arizona-based foundation Ageless Aviation is using a Boeing Stearman vintage open-air cockpit aircraft for the flights.
