According to the South Carolina Department of Transportation, there will be three separate overnight closures of I-126 westbound, between Elmwood Avenue and Colonial Life Boulevard due to construction work.
Starting on Monday, March 4, a portion of Gibson Road in Lexington County will be temporarily closed for construction, said SCDOT.
SCDOT is announcing the closures of I-126 westbound between Elmwood Avenue and Colonial Life Boulevard for Carolina Crossroads project construction work.
According to SCDOT, a portion of Hardscrabble Road is set to close overnight beginning on Wednesday.
To improve safety and flow of traffic, the project will include reconstruction of ramps as well as the creation of flyover acceleration lanes.
The eastbound right lane of Clemson Road, near the Hard Scrabble Road intersection, is closed this week for utility work, said SCDOT.
