Mayor Can’t Help Blowfish In Home Finale (VIDEO)

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin couldn’t quite throw a strike with the ceremonial first pitch Sunday night at Capital City Stadium. Unfortunately for the Columbia Blowfish, it was a sign of things to come in their home finale. Forest City opened the game with three straight hits and Columbia never regained the momentum. The Owls went on to beat the Blowfish 5-3. Columbia drops to 19-35 on the season.
