A police report says Davis was thrown from his Jeep about 10:30 p.m. Saturday when a train hit it at an intersection with U.S. Highway 52. Witnesses told Goose Creek police Davis was stopped over the tracks while waiting for the light to turn green, when the crossing arms descended, and a truck stopped in the front did not move.
The report says the impact caused a chain reaction involving four vehicles, injuring three others.
Davis was taken to a hospital with cuts. He told police he didn’t remember anything.
