SC toddler killed when tree limb falls on him

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) — A 2-year-old Greenville County boy has died after a tree limb fell on him.

The coroner’s office says the boy was in his yard in Taylors about 7 p.m. Thursday when he was struck in the head.

The boy’s name has not been released.

Sheriff’s deputies say he suffered several fractures. He was flown to Greenville Memorial Hospital where he died.

Deputies are not sure why the limb fell.
