Man accused of hitting wife with car
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) — Myrtle Beach police are looking for a man they say ran into his wife with a Volkswagen Beetle during an argument.
The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reported (http://bit.ly/rpTnN6) the 51-year-old woman was taken to a hospital with a broken leg and cuts to her body.
Police Capt. David Knipes said the argument happened Thursday evening at a local campground.
Police are looking for the woman’s husband.
A witness told police the woman called him several times asking him to come over because her husband was out of control.
Another witness said he heard the woman scream and saw the car speed off. They said the woman was found on the ground in front of a trailer.
