Grass roots meeting to hear SC business concerns
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Business leaders on South Carolina’s coast have a chance to discuss issues that concern them as well as comment on the business agenda for next year’s session of the South Carolina General Assembly.
The grass roots meeting is being held Wednesday at the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce office in North Charleston. It is sponsored by the state chamber.
The meeting is held each year to give business people a chance to suggest the business issues lawmakers should deal with when they return to Columbia in January.
Leaders of the state chamber are attending to discuss issues on which lawmakers will likely focus.
