Prosecutor Willy Thompson says the jury was unable to reach a decision Wednesday on charges of murder, armed robbery and possession of a knife during a violent crime.

The body of 56-year-old Tommie Mitchell was found in his home Aug 3, 2008. Officials say Mitchell had been dead for several days and they had trouble determining the cause of death.
