Radiator producer to expand in Greenville County

PIEDMONT, S.C. (AP) — Griffin Thermal Products is moving to a larger facility in Greenville County and expects to create at least 50 new jobs.

State and local officials announced Wednesday that the maker of automotive and industrial coolers is buying and overhauling the vacant, former Delta Mills plant. The 330,000 square foot facility is four times larger than Griffin’s current space.

The company plans to begin hiring in November.

Griffin Thermal Products was founded in 1981. It makes every component of its aluminum radiators and cooling devices. The company builds products for all forms of racing, including circle track and drag racing. It specializes in after-market racing radiators, oil coolers, intercoolers and super charger coolers.
