Former Pa. senator campaigning in SC on Labor Day

CHAPIN, S.C. (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum is campaigning in the Midlands and in upstate South Carolina this Labor Day.

On Monday, the former U.S. senator from Pennsylvania will take part in the Chapin Labor Day parade and then he will host a meet-and-greet for supporters there.

Later he’s attending a Labor Day festival in Simpsonville before holding an early-evening campaign rally in Greenville.

Santorum is campaigning in advance of next February’s South Carolina GOP presidential primary, which is the first in the South.
