Benedict Not Lights Out Against Ft. Valley St.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Thursday night football at Benedict College had lights (most of the time), cameras, but not enough action to keep the Tigers from being knocked off 40-23 by Ft. Valley St. Ft. Valley’s Travis Richmond ran for two early touchdowns to give the visitors control of the ballgame. The game was delayed for about 15 minutes in the first quarter when the lights went out at Charlie W. Johnson stadium. The Division II SIAC game was broadcast regional on CSS. Benedict drops to 1-3 on the season. Ft. Valley St. improves to 1-3.
