SC farmer finds more livestock with gunshot wounds

WOODRUFF, S.C. (AP) — Spartanburg County deputies are again investigating a case of animal cruelty after a farmer reported goats in his pasture were shot.

The incident comes days after authorities arrested a pair of Woodruff residents they say fired up to 20 bullets into a pasture, killing a donkey and a llama.

Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office investigators are trying to figure out if the same men are responsible for the latest incident, in which two goats were shot.

Jody Lamb has 60 acres along Highway 101, where he found bullet shell casings. Lamb said he had to put one of the wounded goats down.
