SC Housing announces Palmetto Heroes Program

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Those who work in public service now have a better shot at home ownership.

Monday, March 9, 2026, South Carolina Housing announced the launch of the Palmetto Heroes Program.

The program provides $10,000 in forgivable down payment assistance.

Some of those who are eligible include teachers, nurses, law enforcement officers and others.
