2 Goose Creek firefighters hit by motorist
GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (AP) — Two Goose Creek firefighters have been injured after they were hit by a motorist.
Highway Patrol Cpl. Bob Beres says the firefighters were hit while working an earlier wreck on U.S. 176 in Goose Creek late Tuesday.
Fire Capt. Michael Althoff and fireman Christopher Harrison were treated and released from Trident Medical Center.
Twenty-five-year-old Jessica Lanier has been charged with driving under the influence. She was being held at the Berkeley County jail. It was not clear if she has an attorney.
