3 firms looking to come to Greenville County
GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) — Greenville County Council has approved incentives and property tax breaks for companies considering locations in Greenville County.
The Greenville News (http://bit.ly/p4xhiV ) reports documents filed with the council show three firms are considering coming to the county, bringing up to 2,000 jobs and $172 million in investments.
The documents refer to the companies by their code names only — Wrigley, Lotus and Gem — and provide few details.
Council Chairman Butch Kirven told the newspaper that the county hopes to have news from the companies by the end of the year.
