CLEMSON, S.C. (WOLO) — Clemson will try to win its first ACC championship since 1991 on Saturday when the Tigers face 5th ranked Virginia Tech. Clemson defeated the Hokies 23-3 on October 1 in Blacksburg. Since the game in Blacksburg, Virginia Tech has won seven in row, while Clemson has gone 4-3 with the three losses coming in the last four contests. After the victory in Blacksburg earlier this season, the Tigers did its 2011 trademark tombstone celebration. Virginia Tech is using that as a motivational tool, while the Tigers hope to add another one after the ACC Championship game.
