Lexington County deputies investigate fatal shooting, no threat to community

LEXINGTON, SC (WOLO) — According to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, deputies are at the 3500 block of Fernandina Road investigating a fatal shooting.

Crime scene investigators say they are on the scene processing and collecting potential evidence. They will most likely be in the area for several hours.

Deputies also say they have identified a person of interest and believe this was an isolated incident with no further threat to the community.
