MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WOLO) — Future Gamecock and Lexington High School wide receiver, Shaq Roland, was named Mr. Football for the state of South Carolina Friday night. Roland is the fourth consecutive future Carolina player to win the award. In 2008 it was Stephone Gilmore, 2009 was Marcus Lattimore, and 2010 Jadeveon Clowney won the award. Roland had 79 receptions for 1,546 yards and 19 touchdowns.
