One Student Dead, Others Wounded in Ohio School Shooting

CHARDON, Ohio (AP) –The police chief in a city outside Cleveland says one student has died in a shooting at a high school. Chardon Police Chief Timothy McKenna says one student died Monday. He says a gunman is in custody but hasn’t been charged yet. The suspect’s name isn’t being released because he is a juvenile. Four other students were injured. A student who was just feet away when a gunman opened fire at an Ohio high school says a normal morning was interrupted by strange sounds in a hallway, then the sight of the gunman beginning to shoot.
