Man Shot to Death Near Conway

CONWAY, S.C. (AP) _ Horry County police are looking for suspects in the shooting death of a man near Conway. Authorities say 20-year-old Jose Gutierez of Myrtle Beach died shortly after he was taken to Conway Medical Center on Friday night. Police were called to a report of shots fired and discovered someone had taken a man away in a car. A witness told police she was in her home and heard gunshots. She said she saw a man leave in a vehicle and a woman and Gutierez left in another vehicle. Police say Gutierez arrived at the hospital while they were still at the scene and he died a short time later. Sgt. Robert Kegler says no arrests have been made.
