Cantaloupes recalled from Food Lion and Reid’s stores

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — A North Carolina produce supplier has expanded its recall of potentially contaminated cantaloupes sold at 129 Food Lion locations, mostly in Augusta, Columbia, Charleston, Greenville, and Myrtle Beach. 11 Reid’s locations in South Carolin are also on the expanded recall list. Burch Equipment, LLC says its Athena cantaloupes may contain Listeria. Customers who may have purchased the cantaloupes are urged to throw it away and return the sticker for the cantaloupes to their local Food Lion or Reid’s stores for a full refund.
