High Temperatures Killing Thousands of Fish

(WOLO)LINCOLN, NEBRASKA– It’s quite an unusual sight according to area residents. Thousands of fish are dying and game and inland fisheries officials say the heat is to blame. The Midwest region has been so dry and the temperatures so steamy in some cases water was recorded at nearly a hundred degrees. Officials say they’re seeing Catfish, Carp and even the endangered greater Redhorse fish unable to with stand the elements.
