Cats in the City: No Decision Yet
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Last night, residents in West Columbia gathered for a public hearing to talk about a proposed ordinance concerning protocol for feral cats. Councilwoman Casey Hallman tells ABC Columbia News, City Council did not take a vote last night, instead they only gathered information. The proposed ordinance would amend the animal control section of the city’s code. Coucilwoman Hallman says a work session will be held later this month where she believes the issue will be discussed further. There’s no word yet on when an official vote will be taken.
