(WOLO) LEXINGTON, S.C., — It’s a more than 179 thousand square foot learning facility. Complete with specialty labs, an extra large cafeteria with couch like booths, bistro tables and a state of the art library, and media center. Each inch of the Meadow Glenn Middle school is designed for students to collaborate with each other to work as a team. ” i think it’s going to be a great learning environment. They have no reason not to succeed with this opportunity provided for them.” Said Jennifer Pitts, the mother of a rising 6th grader who is eager to walk through the doors to begin classes in the new location. Roughly 8 hundred students pulled from the overcrowded Lexington, White Knoll and Pleasent Hill Middle schools will fill the halls in less than 2 weeks. Each of them getting their own i-pad to replace conventional lockers, and a lot more breathing room. The first day of class begins August 22nd.
