Deaths Linked to Canatloupes

(WOLO) DENVER, COLORADO — The food and drug administration is looking into a possible link between an outbreak of illnesses and Cantaloupes. Officials say the fruit could possibly be contaminated with Salmonella. Health officials say the first incidents of illnesses began appearing back in July. So Far, more than a hundred people from Alabama, California, Georgia, Tennessee, Pennsylvania and South Carolina have been infected. If you have Cantaloupes in your home distributed from South Western Indiana officials are asking you to discard them immediately. The Indiana farm has stop distributing the fruit for the remainder of the growing season. Source: Associate Press
