Shaw mourning loss of one of their own

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — An Air Force airman was found dead Friday afternoon at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter County. The Public Affairs office of the 20th Fighter Wing says that the airman was found around 2 p.m. Friday. The name of the airman has not been released. While details are limited, the office does say that the airman was assigned and stationed at the base. The investigation is on-going at this time.
